San Diego, CA (July 15,2023) A 63-year-old man was struck by an SUV in the Midtown community of San Diego.
The accident took place around 1:20 a.m. in the 3500 block of Kettner Boulevard. The pedestrian was not in a marked crosswalk as he attempted to cross the street. The San Diego Police Department said the man stepped directly into the path of the Honda.

The driver of the Honda remained at the scene until police officers arrived. The pedestrian suffered serious, but non-life-threatening injuries and is expected to survive.
