The 20-year-old man was walking west on Patterson Road shortly before 8:00 p.m. on Monday, when he was hit by a Ford vehicle. Emergency crews arrived at the scene and began life-saving treatment. The man’s injuries were so severe that he, sadly, died at the scene.
The driver of the Ford pulled over and cooperated with police officers at that scene. It is still unknown if the driver didn’t see the pedestrian or if the pedestrian got in front of the vehicle. The accident is currently under investigation but authorities do not believe drugs or alcohol were a factor in this accident.
