Santa Clarita, CA (September 13, 2023) A pedestrian was struck by a Metrolink train in Santa Clarita early Wednesday morning. The Los Angeles County Fire Department hasn’t shared the pedestrian’s condition
A spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department told City News Service that they responded around 6:00 a.m. to the report of a collision involving a train and a pedestrian. It happened near Ruether Avenue and Soledad Canyon Road.

Metrolink officials reported that train number 202 struck someone on the tracks between Santa Clarita and Via Princessa stations. They had to close the train track into mid-morning which caused delays and cancellations on the Antelope Valley Train Line.
The accident is currently being investigated.
