Brentwood, CA (September 15, 2023) At least 1 person was injured in a 2-vehicle collision on the morning of September 15th. The accident took place around 8:40 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
A white Honda SUV and a red Ford Expedition were both involved in the collision on Deer Valley Road. It happened just west of Brentwood and north of Empire Mine Road. Reports indicate that a third vehicle may have also been involved, as well.

A man was lying in the roadway and had to be moved, according to California Highway Patrol officials. It was reported that 1 person was also sent to a Kaiser Antioch with injuries, but it is still unclear if that is the same person or two different people.
Dispatch operators with the CHP reported that at some point during the collision, the Honda went about 10 feet off the roadway. Tow trucks were called to the scene where they removed both the Honda and the Ford, which were both badly damaged.
The crash is under investigation to determine who is at fault and what exactly happened on Deer Valley Road.
