NORTH HIGHLANDS, CA (OCTOBER 6, 2023): One person was hospitalized following a skateboarding accident in North Highlands Thursday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at around 4:30 p.m., as a skateboarder traveling eastbound was struck by a driver heading east on Don Julio Boulevard. The circumstances of this collision are not yet available.

Paramedics responding to the scene discovered the victim laying unconscious and rushed the patient to a local hospital. The current condition of the rider is unknown.
Authorities will continue to investigate the cause of this skateboarding accident in North Highlands.
