Bakersfield, CA (October 10, 2023) – One person tragically passed away on Tuesday, October 10th, after an unusual car crash on Highway 99 in Bakersfield. The accident took place around 12:38 p.m. on the onramp from Panama Lane onto Highway 99.
The victim was preparing to enter the highway, when they lost control and began to skid. They crossed the highway lanes and crashed into stationary construction equipment.

The victim was quickly transported to the hospital by paramedics. But sadly, they succumbed to their injuries shortly after. Details about the victim’s identity have not been released at this time.
