San Diego, CA (November 9, 2023) A motorcyclist was injured on the Interstate 15 Freeway, near Scripps Poway Parkway in San Diego. The accident occurred around 2:12 p.m. on Thursday, November 9th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
California Highway Patrol officials reported a collision between a motorcycle and a gray Honda and/or a service truck in the HOV lane of the Interstate 15 Freeway. Paramedics found the motorcycle rider down in the No. 1 lane of the freeway in need of medical attention. It is unknown if they were taken to a hospital, though. The driver of the other vehicle involved was not injured in this collision.

The No. 1 lane had to be closed while officers cleared the scene. A tow truck was called to the scene to remove the motorcycle, which sustained major damage, from the freeway. Crews had to clean debris from the freeway before the No. 1 lane could be reopened to traffic.
