One person was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle in Stockton.

STOCKTON, CA (NOVEMBER 15, 2023): A person was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle in a pedestrian accident in Stockton on Tuesday.

The Stockton Police Department reported the incident occurred on Tuesday, November 14th in the area of March Lane and Kentfield Road. Stockton authorities received reports of a collision between a pedestrian and a vehicle around 8:14 p.m. that evening, and arrived shortly after.

Upon the arrival of emergency personnel, paramedics discovered the pedestrian seriously injured by the impact of the vehicle. They administered first aid to the victim, and then transported them to an area hospital for further treatment. The extent of the person’s injuries is unknown, and an update on their condition has not been released.

The circumstances surrounding the collision remains unclear. Whether the vehicle fled the scene or remained and cooperated with authorities has not been clarified as of yet. A description of the vehicle was not available.

The eastbound lanes of March Lanes at Kentfield Road were closed for a preliminary investigation into this incident. Stockton authorities will continue to investigate this unfortunate pedestrian accident.
