Long Beach, CA (November 27, 2023) At least one person sustained injuries in a collision involving multiple vehicles on State Route 91 in Long Beach on Monday morning. The Long Beach Fire Department reported that that collision occurred around 4:42 a.m. on the Artesia 91 Freeway near Cherry Avenue.
The California Highway Patrol reported that a tow truck, white van and either a car or SUV were involved in this multi-vehicle crash on State Route 91. They collided in the westbound HOV lane of the freeway, according to one report.

Emergency crews arrived at the scene and paramedics from the Long Beach Fire Department rushed to help at least one person who was injured in this collision. The extent of the victim’s injuries have not been revealed.
Officers had to request tow trucks to come to the scene and remove at least two of the damaged vehicles from the roadway of State Route 91. Crews had to clean debris and glass from the roadway and investigators began searching for evidence to help them determine what exactly happened.
