Wilmington, CA (December 8, 2023) Megan Russo, a 29-year-old Los Angeles resident, was killed in a motorcycle accident in Wilmington, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. The accident happened shortly after 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 7th.
Russo was riding her motorcycle in the 1100 block of Mauretania Street in Wilmington when she collided with a pickup truck, police officers said. Emergency crews arrived at the scene to find Russo on the ground, unresponsive. Paramedics said she died shortly after the accident and was, sadly, pronounced dead at the scene.

The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner was called to the scene and they later determined that the deceased was Megan Russo.
The motorcycle was hauled away and investigators looked for evidence and also spoke with the driver of the pickup. They still aren’t sure as to exactly what took place on Mauretania Street in Wilmington, according to authorities. Investigators are working to determine what exactly happened and who was at fault in this tragic motorcycle accident that took Megan Russo’s life.
