Las Vegas, Nevada (February 12, 2024) A tragic accident claimed two lives in Las Vegas on Saturday, February 10th, authorities said. The deadly crash occurred at the intersection of East Bonanza Road and North Lamb Boulevard in east Las Vegas.

A 17-year-old boy was driving a Chevrolet Silverado on Lamb Boulevard, heading north. At the same time, a 60-year-old man was behind the wheel of a Toyota Scion, approaching the intersection. The Chevrolet had a red light, but didn’t stop, officers reported. Not only did the teenager run the red light, but he entered the intersection at a high rate of speed as well. The Toyota had a green light and as the 60-year-old driver entered the intersection, he was hit by the Chevrolet, officers said.
