Los Angeles, CA (February 23, 2024) A three-vehicle collision occurred in South Los Angeles on Friday, February 2024. Four people were injured in this awful crash, two of whom sustained critical injuries.
It was just after 8:30 a.m. on Friday, February 23rd, as vehicles drove along the 700 block of East Florence Avenue. Suddenly, for reasons still unknown, three vehicles collided, just north of Avalon Boulevard. Not only did the collision block the roadway, but it also left four people injured.
The Lost Angeles Fire Department arrived at the scene and found the three damaged vehicles on East Florence Avenue. Paramedics hurried to help those who needed medical attention and found the four injured parties. Two of the victims had sustained critical injuries in the accident and required immediate medical attention. All four victims were taken to a local hospital to receive treatment, the LAFD reported.
Officers are still uncertain as to what caused this three-vehicle accident. They gathered evidence from the scene and spoke with witnesses in the area. They will determine exactly what led up to this accident and who was at fault.
