Sadly, they found the 20-year-old driver from Rocklin dead behind the wheel of the vehicle. Authorities pronounced her dead at the scene and called for a coroner. The passenger of her vehicle, a 19-year-old woman from Flagstaff, Arizona, sustained serious injuries in the collision and was rushed to a local hospital for treatment.
The other vehicle involved, contained two occupants. They were both found alive but both had serious injuries following the accident. Paramedics transported them both to a local hospital, via ambulance, to receive further treatment for their injuries.
Detectives at the scene gathered evidence and spoke with witnesses. They are determined to figure out what caused this collision on Highway 1 in Cambria. The two vehicles were completely smashed and debris and glass were thrown in all directions.
