Palmdale, CA (May 24, 2024) An accident on Angeles Forest Highway in Palmdale on Thursday afternoon, May 23rd, left two people with injuries. The multi-vehicle collision involved at least three vehicles, according to reports, and one of the injured victims sustained serious injuries. It happened just after 2:30 p.m. near the Pacifico Mountain Trailhead.
As vehicles headed north and south along the Angeles Forest Highway, three vehicles suddenly collided, for reasons unknown, blocking both the northbound and southbound lanes. The collision caused traffic to back up along the highway and debris and glass were thrown in all directions.

The California Highway Patrol arrived at the scene and found the three vehicles, damaged and sitting in the middle of the highway. They found two people who were injured in the accident, one of whom had sustained serious injuries. Paramedics arrived and hurried to give medical aid to the victims. Two people were loaded into an ambulance and taken to a local hospital to receive treatment for injuries. One of them was in serious condition, according to reports.
Police officers are not certain what happened on that highway on the afternoon of May 23rd. They are determined to figure out what caused this three-vehicle collision and who was at fault. A tow truck was called to remove at least one of the vehicles from the scene and debris had to be removed from the roadway before it could be reopened to motorists.
