The California Highway Patrol received the call at approximately 6:37 p.m. at the intersection of Union Avenue. The two military vehicles were blocking the westbound lanes following the accident, officers reported.
Emergency personnel arrived and found the two military vehicles in the middle of the highway. Paramedics rushed to the vehicles, prepared to give medical aid to anyone who needed it. They found one person with serious injuries, according to officers. The person was immediately placed in an ambulance and rushed to a local hospital to receive emergency treatment.
