1 Killed, Another Injured in 1 A.M. Agua Dulce Crash

Cameron Miles killed in head-on crash in Antelope Valley.

Agua Dulce, CA (June 14, 2024) An early-morning collision on the Antelope Freeway near Agua Dulce turned deadly.  Three cars were involved.

California Highway Patrol reportedly responded to the scene at 1:21 a.m. Friday morning. It was located on the northbound freeway next to the Escondido Canyon Road off ramp. They discovered that the collision started when one vehicle rammed into the back of a tow truck.

When police arrived, they found the person who hit the tow truck underneath the truck in their vehicle. Tragically, they were pronounced dead at the scene. At this time, it is unclear who the victim is.

A second person was taken to a hospital. It is not yet known if this person is the tow truck driver, or the driver of the other vehicle that was impacted in this collision. California Highway Patrol also reported that a fire broke out in the crash.

Authorities shut down all lanes of the northbound Antelope freeway for multiple hours while they investigated this accident. Details are still coming out.
