Carson, CA (June 17, 2024) A sad accident occurred on Sunday morning when a person was struck by a vehicle.
According to reports, at around 3:40 a.m. Sunday morning, somebody hit a pedestrian with their car as they were coming up an onramp to the Harbor Freeway in Carson. A SigAlert was swiftly issued at about 4:12 a.m. It happened on the southbound freeway next to West Carson Street. Police discovered that the impact of the collision killed the pedestrian. Her name was Nadia Ritchie, and she was 29.
Authorities closed the onramp and the slow lane as they investigated the accident, the California Highway Patrol says.
