Vegas: Pedestrian Killed by Semi-Truck on I-15

One killed in two-vehicle crash with box truck in Las Vegas.

Las Vegas, NV (June 21, 2024)

A story in the early stages of investigation has come out of Nevada. A pedestrian was struck in the northbound lanes between Tropicana and Russell on Interstate 15 last night, Thursday.

The victim was reportedly struck by a white semi-tractor trailer travelling north. It’s unclear exactly how the collision unfolded, but with semi-trucks weighing tens of thousands of pounds, authorities responding to the scene knew they had to move quickly. They received a report about the crash around 6:13 p.m.

Tragically, the pedestrian was killed in the collision. Their identity is unknown at the time of writing. We also don’t yet have reports about the driver’s involvement in the investigation.

The Nevada State Police ask anyone with information about this incident to please call them. The investigation is ongoing.
