Martin Okeke Killed in PCH Crash With Summer Wheaton

Malibu, CA (July 5, 2024)

A terrible crash occurred late last night on the Fourth of July. Reports say it happened in Malibu, and two vehicles were involved.

It was in the 22000 block of Pacific Coast Highway that two cars collided just west of Carbon Canyon. The Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station reported that the crash happened a little after 10:20 p.m.

Reports say that a person driving a 2019 Mercedes-Benz eastbound on PCH crossed the center median. It is not clear why they did so. This caused them to crash head-on with a 2020 Cadillac. Tragically, the Cadillac driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The Mercedes-Benz driver and a passenger in the Cadillac were taken to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

Update: The driver of the Cadillac has been identified as 44-year-old Martin Okeke. The Mercedes-Benz driver was identified as Summer Wheaton, a popular social media influencer who was returning from a July 4th event at Nobu.
