Cerritos, CA (July 5, 2024)
A terrible crash occurred in Cerritos early this morning. It happened on the 91 Freeway, also known as the Artesia Freeway.
California Highway Patrol was alerted to the accident around 1:14 a.m. The collision occurred in the eastbound lanes near Gridley Road.
Two to three vehicles were involved in this crash. Tragically, at least one person, a male, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The HOV, No. 1 and No. 2 lanes were closed as authorities investigated. Details have not been made available yet. We do not know how the crash occurred or how many people were involved.
