Las Vegas, NV (August 8, 2024) A frightening collision in Vegas left multiple people injured on August 7 at about 4:01 p.m.
According to LVMPD, Andy Garcia was driving a Honda Accord on eastbound E. Tropicana Avenue approaching Andover Drive at a high rate of speed.
Meanwhile, a BMW was making a left turn from westbound E. Tropicana Avenue onto Andover Drive. At this time, the Honda crashed into the right front of the BMW.
Paramedics took the occupants of the Honda to Sunrise Trauma. The BMW driver sustained minor injuries. They also remained at the scene and did not show signs of impairment.
All five occupants in the Honda were seriously injured, according to an LVMPD press release. Their conditions varied in severity:
-Driver Andy Garcia (31): Critical
-Passenger Jessica Williams (30): Critical
-Passenger, 7-year-old girl: Critical
-Passenger, 6-year-old girl: Life-threatening
-Passenger, 12-year-old girl: Serious
