Napa County, CA (October 16, 2023) 21-year-old Fabian Solorio of Woodland was injured and 20-year-old Miguel Pina was arrested following a Napa County collision. The California Highway Patrol said the accident occurred around 5:00 p.m.
Pina was driving a 2006 BMW west on Highway 128, east of Wragg Canyon Road, when he lost control of the car. The California Highway Patrol said the BMW went down an embankment, flipped over and then struck a tree.

Medical personnel arrived at the scene and found both occupants with injuries. Solorio sustained serious injuries in the accident and was taken by air ambulance to Kaiser Permanente Vacaville Medical Center, according to CHP. Pina, who was driving, sustained minor injuries and was taken by an American Medical Response ambulance to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center.
The California Highway Patrol released a statement in which they said Pina was arrested in connection with the collision. Drugs are suspected to be a factor in this accident.
