Menifee, CA (August 30, 2024) A man named Daniel Cantor Gonzalez was tragically killed in a motorcycle vs. vehicle collision on Thursday, August 29. He was only 30 years old.
Menifee police reported that the crash occurred around 6:50 p.m. on Murrieta Road. Gonzalez was riding his motorcycle northbound on Murrieta at an unconfirmed speed when the driver of a southbound Dodge Ram attempted a turn to go east on Farmington.
When the car turned, it was in Gonzalez’s path. The motorcyclist struck the passenger side of the Dodge pickup truck. The driver stopped immediately, according to reports.
Paramedics were called to the scene, but for about ten minutes, Good Samaritans who witnessed the crash were reportedly attempting resuscitative measures on the injured rider. Tragically, however, he was pronounced dead shortly after 7 p.m.
