Bakersfield, CA (September 11, 2024) The Kern County Coroner’s Office recently identified the victim of a solo-vehicle crash that occurred on Highway 99 in Bakersfield early last month. His name was Aaron Anderson Jackson Jr.
The 50-year-old Compton resident was the passenger in a Nissan driven by a 50-year-old Los Angeles woman on August 4. At about 6:47 a.m., she was driving southbound on the highway when, for some reason, the car veered off the road and crashed into a metal streetlamp and a tree.
Both the driver and Jackson Jr. were taken to Kern Medical for treatment. It was there that Jackson Jr. was tragically pronounced dead.
