Oroville, CA (September 12, 2024) Two pedestrians were struck and injured in Oroville on Wednesday night, September 11th, 2024. Reports indicated that one sustained moderate injuries while the other had serious injuries. It happened on Feather River Boulevard, according to Cal Fire.
Two pedestrians were walking along Feather River Boulevard on Wednesday night. As they walked, a vehicle approached. For reasons that remain unknown, the vehicle struck the two pedestrians in the 2100 block, according to reports. Both victims were knocked to the ground with injuries.
Cal Fire arrived at the scene on Feather River Boulevard and found the victims lying on the shoulder of the road. Paramedics said one pedestrian sustained moderate injuries and the other was in serious condition. Both were placed in an ambulance and rushed to a nearby hospital to receive treatment.
Officers with the Oroville Police Department investigated the scene and are diligently trying to determine what caused this pedestrian versus vehicle collision.
