One Injured In Two-Vehicle Bakersfield Collision On Haley Street

Several injured in two-vehicle Stanislaus County crash.

Bakersfield, CA (September 12, 2024) A two-vehicle collision at a North Bakersfield intersection left one person with injuries. The collision occurred just before 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 10th, 2024. It happened at the intersection of Panorama Drive and Haley Street, officers reported.

The two vehicles approached the intersection of Panorama Drive and Haley Street at the same time. Officers are still unsure what caused this accident, but the two vehicles collided at the intersection The collision left the two vehicles blocking the intersection and left debris littering the roadway.

The Bakersfield Police Department arrived at the scene and found the two damaged vehicles sitting in the middle of the intersection, causing some traffic issues. They went to the vehicles, prepared to begin medical treatment on anyone in need. One person was found with non-life-threatening injuries. Paramedics arrived at the scene and transported the victim to a local hospital to receive medical treatment for their injuries.

Investigators gathered evidence and took statements from those at the scene. They are working to determine what caused this Bakersfield collision, as well as who was responsible. A tow truck was called to the scene to remove at least one of the vehicle and crews worked quickly to clear the debris from the intersection.
