La Habra Pursuit: SUV Slams Head-On Into Police Vehicle

A motorcyclist and a pedestrian both lost their lives in a Ventura County crash.

Placentia, CA (September 16, 2024) A La Habra pursuit ended with the suspect crashing head-on into a police vehicle, leaving multiple parties injured. It happened on Sunday, September 15.

The pursuit started around 11 p.m. when officers in La Habra found a stolen vehicle on the road. They attempted to pull the motorist over, but he failed to yield. A high-speed chase began on Kraemer Boulevard and continued through Fullerton into Placentia.

The motorist, who was driving an SUV, slammed head-on into a Placentia Police Department Ford Explorer at Kraemer Boulevard and Madison Avenue, according to reports.

The suspect was taken to a trauma center for medical treatment. The officers who were in the Explorer were transported to UC Irvine Medical Center, but their conditions are unknown at this time.
