Linda, CA (September 17, 2024) Officers reported that three vehicles were involved in a collision in Linda on September 13th, 2024, leaving at least one person with significant injuries. The accident occurred on Highway 70 in Yuba County just after 2:30 p.m., not far from Feather River Boulevard.
The two vehicles collided in the northbound lanes for unknown reasons, reports indicated. At least three vehicles were involved in the accident and all three ended up blocking the roadway, following the crash. Reports indicated that debris also littered the roadway and became traffic hazards.
The California Highway Patrol arrived at the scene and found the damaged vehicles blocking the northbound lanes of the highway, just south of Marysville. They found at least one person with injuries and requested an ambulance at the scene.
Tow trucks had to haul the damaged vehicles off the highway and crews worked quickly to clear the debris from the roadway. The accident remains under investigation as officers work to uncover what exactly happened on that Linda highway. They are also determined to discover who was at fault.
