Tulare, CA (October 3, 2024) A horrible collision occurred on Monday that left Jessie Guerrero injured. Even worse, a 1-month-old baby, presumed to be Guerrero’s, was killed in the accident.
Reports state that a 24-year-old man was driving west on Highway 198 when he attempted to pass the vehicle ahead of him. Now in the opposite lane, he collided head-on with a Freightliner truck.
The driver, Guerrero, and the baby girl were rushed to a hospital. Both adults sustained major injuries, and the baby succumbed to hers at the hospital.
The driver was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.
