Las Vegas, NV (October 14, 2024) One person sustained injuries in a collision at the intersection of IR15 and Blue Diamond Road in Las Vegas on Friday, October 11th. It happened just before 7:00 p.m. in the eastbound lanes leading to the northbound flyover.
Reports suggest that at least two vehicles collided at IR15 and Blue Diamond Road on Friday evening. The collision left the vehicles with major damage as they sat, blocking traffic. First responders arrived at the scene and found the damaged in the middle of the roadway, surrounded by a field of debris. One person inside one of the vehicles was found with injuries, officers reported. They were taken to a local hospital to receive treatment for unknown injuries.
Officers are working to determine what caused this accident, as well as who was responsible. The collision led to traffic delays in the area as officers worked as quickly as they could to clean the scene.
