Palm Springs, CA (October 21, 2024) A 19-year-old student and baseball player tragically lost his life in a collision on Oct. 14 in Palm Springs.
Nathen Wilson of Yorktown, Virginia was in Palm Springs with his baseball team to participate in the Power Summer Collegiate League. He had just completed his first year of college at Christopher Newport University.
It was about 8:15 p.m. Monday when for unknown reasons, Wilson’s motorcycle and another car collided on Golf Club Drive and East Palm Canyon Drive. Paramedics found Wilson with significant injuries, and he was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers reported that drugs or alcohol don’t appear to be factors in the crash.
