Not far from State Route 55 in Anaheim, a three-vehicle collision occurred on the Riverside 91 Freeway. It was around 9:45 a.m. when a red sedan, a white Toyota Avalon, and a white SUV crashed in the HOV lane and fast lane of the freeway. Airbags inside all three vehicles deployed and one man was left trapped inside his vehicles, according to reports.
First responders arrived at the scene and found the older man trapped inside the car. They used special tools to free the man and found that he had been injured in the accident. Paramedics transported him to a hospital in the area where he is expected to make a full recovery.

Several lanes ended up being closed during the investigation and cleanup of this accident. All three vehicles had to be removed by tow trucks, according to reports, and crews worked for quite a while removing the debris and glass from the freeway.
