Initial reports suggest that a black Honda sedan was traveling on Highway 38 when it suddenly veered into oncoming traffic. A Subaru Impreza had no time to react as the Honda appeared in its path. The two vehicles collided, head-on, according to reports. One of the vehicles caught on fire immediately after the collision and debris was thrown all over the highway.
First responders arrived at the scene and found one person with injuries. They were taken to a nearby hospital to receive treatment, however the injuries were not life-threatening, reports indicated.
