Stanislaus County, CA (June 14, 2024) Sadness blanketed the community of Stanislaus County as news spread of a child’s death. 11-year-old Jonathan Ramos, from Ceres, was riding his bicycle on the evening of June 7th, when he was struck and killed by a vehicle. This devastating accident took place on Crows Landing Road, not far from Highway 99, at approximately 8:30 p.m., officers said.

11-year-old Ramos was heading south on Crows Landing Road on his bicycle, near Modesto. An Acura was driving north along Crows Landing Road at the same time, reports indicated. Initial reports suggested that Ramos suddenly turned to the left, directly in the path of the vehicle.
