Joey Paquet struck, killed by car on Highway 101 in Oxnard.

Los Banos, CA (November 3, 2023) Two teenagers were riding their bikes to school on Thursday, November 2nd, when they were struck by a pickup truck. Authorities said the accident occurred around 8:00 a.m. near Overland and Place.

Police officers told ABC 30 News that both of the boys were 15 years old. They were riding their bikes to school together, probably something they have done every morning, not knowing that Thursday morning’s ride would be different. As they rode, a 17-year-old girl was driving a Ford F-150 down the same road. For reasons unknown, the teenage girl struck the two boys on bicycles.
