Reno, NV (September 12, 2024) A bicyclist named Aliaksei Dziatskou was tragically killed when he was struck by a vehicle in Reno.
The crash occurred in the 600 block of South Rock Boulevard on August 25 at about 5:15 a.m. While the circumstances surrounding the crash are unclear, police reported that a vehicle struck 43-year-old Dziatskou and fled the scene. He was pronounced dead at the scene from multiple blunt force injuries.
Officers are still searching for the suspect who left the bicyclist on the road. They are offering a $1,500 reward for information leading to their arrest. The Reno Police Department also encourages any witnesses to call them if they have information regarding this awful crash.
