Chula Vista, CA (August 30, 2023) A female driver was arrested for suspicion of DUI on Tuesday night after she crashed her vehicle, according to the California Highway Patrol. The single-vehicle crash occurred around 11:20 p.m. in Chula Vista.

It all happened on the Bonita Road Ramp toward northbound Interstate 805. The California Highway Patrol said that the female driver lost control of her SUV and swerved, causing the vehicle to overturn It came to a rest on its roof after taking out a guardrail.
Authorities told ABC 10 News that the woman’s iPhone called 911 because it detected an accident. Amazingly enough, the female driver was uninjured and crawled free of the overturn SUV. The California Highway Patrol on the scene arrested her for suspicion of DUI.
