Roseville, CA (September 14, 2023) A bicyclist was injured in a hit-and-run late Thursday morning in Roseville. The driver who fled the scene was later found by authorities, according to the Roseville Police Department.

The accident occurred at City Way and Vernon Street. The 61-year-old man was riding his bicycle when he was hit by a vehicle. The vehicle then fled the scene, leaving the bicyclist injured on the side of the road.
Paramedics arrived at that scene and found the bicyclist, injured, but conscious. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Later, authorities found the driver of the vehicle. It turned out to be a 19-year-old who was arrested on suspicion of a hit-and-run Authorities are still investigating the details of this accident.
