Fontana, CA (September 12, 2023) – A cyclist was severely injured on Monday, September 11th, in a bike crash on Beech Avenue in Fontana. The accident took place around 8:06 a.m. at the intersection with Pine Avenue, directly in front of Beech Avenue Elementary School.
The cyclist was struck by a vehicle and became trapped below it. The California Highway Patrol responded to the scene and found the cyclist pinned beneath the vehicle.

Paramedics were called to the scene and assisted in helping the trapped victim and transporting them to the nearby Kaiser Fontana hospital. The CHP reported that the man was unconscious but breathing at the time of transport. The victim’s identity has not been disclosed at this time.
In the mean time, the California Highway Patrol has taken on the investigation of the bike crash on Beech Avenue.
