FLORIN, CA (AUGUST 30, 2023): One person was killed following a bicycle collision in Florin last Sunday, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Reports indicate the collision occurred at around 2:58 a.m. at Power Inn Road and Loucreta Drive, when a bicyclist collided with a red Nissan for reasons yet unknown.

Upon arrival of Florin authorities, a bicyclist was found lying in the roadway with severe injuries. Despite the effort of emergency personnel, the bicyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
The coroner’s office is pending release of the identity of the victim upon notification of their next of kin. The CHP continues to investigate this bicycle collision in Florin.
