Santa Clarita, CA (November 27, 2023) – A bicyclist sadly passed away on Saturday, November 25th, after being struck in a bicycle accident on Market Street in Santa Clarita, California. According to the Santa Clarita Police Department the accident took place at around 12:45 p.m. at the intersection with Railroad Avenue.
The SCPD reported that the man was riding his bike through the intersection when he was struck by a Mini Cooper vehicle. The crash caused the cyclist to be ejected from their bike, landing in the road and suffering major injury.

Paramedics were quickly dispatched to the scene to assist the cyclist, but sadly their injuries were too severe and they were pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are carefully investigating this bicycle accident on Market Street. The cause of the accident is currently unknown.
