Reedley, CA (May 18, 2023) A bicycle accident occurred at the intersection of Springfield Avenue and Justine Avenue in Reedley on Wednesday afternoon, resulting in injuries to a teenage boy.

According to the Reedley Police Department, a white truck was traveling in the westbound direction on Springfield Avenue when the driver scraped against a parked vehicle, swerved, and then over-corrected. As a result, the truck flipped twice and collided with the teenager riding the bicycle.

The teenage victim was struck while on the sidewalk. The severity of their injuries is currently unknown, but they were airlifted to a hospital for treatment.
