San Marcos, CA (September 19, 2024) On Tuesday, September 17, a teenager riding an e-bike was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene. The crash occurred by the intersection of Knoll and West Mission in San Marcos.
Investigators reported that they are looking for the suspect vehicle. They believe that it’s a pickup truck–a white GMC Sierra with front-end damage that includes a broken antenna, fender, and headlamp.
San Marcos Sheriff’s Station encourages anyone with information regarding this hit-and-run crash to call them.
The teen is reportedly being treated at a local hospital for serious injuries. His current condition is not known at this time.
