WHITE WATER, CA (NOVEMBER 14, 2023): One person has died and another has been badly injured following a crash in the Whitewater neighborhood of Riverside today.
According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the collision occurred on Friday, November 24, on the eastbound 10 Freeway near Highway 62. Officer were dispatched to a severe incident around 7 a.m., and arrived shortly after.

Upon the arrival of emergency personnel, officers discovered two people in critical condition among serious wreckage on the freeway. Paramedics administered first aid to both victims. Unfortunately, one of the occupants of an involved vehicle succumbed to their injured and died at the scene. A second person was injured, and their condition has only been described as “serious.”
This seriously injured patient required extrication from their vehicle.
It is unclear as to what caused this unfortunate crash in Whitewater. Riverside authorities have not reported how many vehicles were involved or given any updates in regards to the surrounding circumstances of the crash as of yet.
