PALA MESA, CA (AUGUST 26, 2023): One person was hospitalized with injuries sustained in a crash involving a large rig on Highway 76 in Pala Mesa Friday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at around 1:09 p.m. Horse Ranch Creek Road, as a large rig turned the corner and struck a Ford F-150 pickup truck.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene, transporting one person with injuries to Palomar Medical Center.
