1 Killed, 1 Hospitalized In Dodge & Kia Tujunga Crash

5 injured in Westwood crash.

Tujunga, CA (July 19, 2024) A crash occurred on Thursday, July 18 at around 12:50 p.m. It involved a silver Kia and a white Dodge sedan. Both cars were left horribly damaged on the side of the road.

It’s not yet clear how the crash happened. When first responders arrived at the scene, they found one person trapped inside each car. One had to be extricated and was taken to the hospital with critical injuries. He was described as a man in his thirties.

The other driver was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity has not been made available.

The accident occurred in the 8400 block of West La Tuna Canyon Road. Footage shows both cars on the side of the road facing away from each other. Both have serious front-end damage. One of the doors of the Dodge was torn off and was lying a few feet away from the car.
