Ventura, CA (October 8, 2024) A multi-vehicle collision occurred in Ventura on Monday morning, October 7th, 2024. The accident took place on the Ventura 101 Freeway, between Telephone Road and State Route 126, according to reports. At least three vehicles collided in the northbound lanes just before 8:30 a.m.
A gray BMW 3 Series, a gray SUV and a white vehicle were all traveling along the Ventura 101 Freeway on Monday morning, when they suddenly collided. The reason for this multi-vehicle collision remains unknown, but the damaged vehicles blocked the No. 2 and No. 3 lanes of the freeway, according to reports. Officers stated that there were other vehicles stopped in on the right shoulder as well as the center divider, but at this time, it isn’t known if they were involved in the collision.
Emergency personnel arrived at the scene and immediately checked the vehicles for anyone in need of medical aid. The Ventura County Fire Department sent paramedics to the scene and they took one person to a local hospital for treatment.
