Midlothian, TX (November 25, 2023) Two people were injured in a two vehicle collision in Midlothian, Texas overnight on Friday, November 24th. The accident took place on the US 287 Highway in Ellis County, right around midnight, authorities said.

Officers arrived at the scene and found that an SUV and another vehicle had collided on the highway in southeast Fort Worth. According to witnesses at the scene, the SUV rolled over several times before coming to a stop. Two people inside the SUV were injured in the collision. Paramedics at the scene loaded both victims into an ambulance and rushed them to a local hospital to receive treatment for injuries sustained in the crash.
Officers had to close the southbound lanes of the highway, near south Midlothian Parkway, for several hours as they investigated the crash. A tow truck had to be called to remove the damaged SUV from the scene and crews had to clean up debris and glass from the area.
