Santa Rosa, CA (September 13, 2024) A collision involving four vehicles occurred on Highway 101 in Santa Rosa on Friday morning, September 13th, 2024. The accident left two people with injuries, according to reports. It happened at approximately 7:00 a.m. at the intersection of College Avenue.

As vehicles headed along Highway 101 on Friday morning, September 13th, four vehicles suddenly collided near College Avenue. The cause of the collision is still under investigation, but the vehicles sat, damaged on the roadway, blocking traffic.

The California Highway Patrol and the Santa Rosa Fire Department arrived at the scene and had to close all northbound lanes of Highway 101. Reports indicated that three fire engines arrived at the scene, along with one ladder truck, an entire squad and one battalion chief arrived with an ambulance and an EMS supervisor. They found two people with significant injuries and transported both to hospitals in the area to receive treatment.

The accident remains under investigation as officers try to determine what caused this four-vehicle accident on Highway 101. They are also working to determine who was at fault. Tow trucks were seen at the scene removing the damaged vehicles and crews worked quickly to clean up the debris that had been left behind by the accident.
