Madera, CA (September 17, 2023) A deputy’s car was rammed by a Ford F250 on Saturday afternoon. Authorities said the driver was suspected of burglary.
Madera County Sheriff’s Office said a deputy responded to a call regarding a burglary in the 28000 block of Avenue 15 around 2:30 p.m. Reports claimed a man was seen on a security camera breaking into a house.

The deputy arrived at the scene and found a man in a Ford F250. The suspect saw the deputy and tried to flee by ramming the iron fence. He also rammed the deputy’s car and nearly hit the deputy in the process.
The Ford eventually became disabled and the suspect got out to flee on foot. He was, instead, taken into custody. He has been identified as 28-year-old Angel Carrillo of Merced. He was booked for several felony charges.
